THE EQUIPMENT

Shadowbox classes utilize 150lb heavy bags, the staple in a boxer’s training regime.

 

Each Shadowboxer has their own bag equipped with a bag pouch for water and 1lb weights.


THE WARM-UP

To loosen your muscles and get your blood flowing, all classes will start with a body weight warm-up.


THE TECHNICAL SHADOWBOXING

'Shadowboxing' is one of the ways boxers prepare themselves physically and mentally before stepping into the ring. It helps the boxer find a rhythm while perfecting style and technique.


THE HEAVY BAG ROUNDS

Instructors will lead each class through 7 to 8 rounds on the heavy bag. Rounds will vary in combinations and defensive movements to ensure a sweat-drenching, full-body workout.
